Thought Process

During the conceptualization phase of my project, I was inspired by the rich narratives and iconic imagery of Greek mythology. I envisioned creating a website for a mythical hotel that would transport visitors to the enchanting world of ancient Greece. To achieve this, I immersed myself in research, exploring various mythological stories, symbols, and architectural motifs. Drawing from this inspiration, I sketched out the main features and sections of the website, including the homepage, room listings, and booking functionality. I also carefully considered the user experience, aiming to strike a balance between informative content and immersive storytelling.

In the development phase, I began by creating the website's structure using HTML, laying the foundation for the various pages and sections. I then turned to CSS to style the website, drawing on my research into ancient Greek aesthetics to design a visually captivating and cohesive theme. Utilizing CSS techniques such as flexbox and grid layout, I ensured that the website was responsive and adaptable to different screen sizes. Additionally, I integrated JavaScript to add dynamic functionalities, such as interactive animations, modal pop-ups, and form validation for the booking process. Throughout the development process, I maintained a modular and organized code structure, facilitating easier debugging and future updates.

Following the initial development, I engaged in iterative testing and refinement to enhance the website's usability and polish its presentation.
